Falling in love for the first time can be exciting and terrifying. Forbidden love exponentially increases those emotions. In 1976 the suburban town of Bohemia, Maryland was filled with conservatives, Catholics and bigots. Two teenage girls from different backgrounds found they shared a love of the band, Queen and soon became friends. Their friendship deepened and morphed into romantic attraction, challenging them to navigate uncharted territory in a hostile environment. College in Colorado offers Mira respite from the tumultuous atmosphere at home. Bridget moves north and develops a New York state of mind in Manhattan. Will their relationship follow the Queen song "Another One Bites the Dust" or can they overcome the desire to fit into a heterosexual society enough to embrace the love they feel for one another and take on the anthem "We Are The Champions"?
