Revenge is the Best Revenge

By James A Scott

On the day (9/11) that the World Trade Center was destroyed by terrorists, many lost colleagues, friends, and family. Later, terrorist lost their caliphate and their leaders. NEITHER SIDE LOST ITS THIRST FOR REVENGE.

On the eve of Ramadan, thieves steal a U.S. nuclear device. Was it stolen by home-grown terrorists bent on setting the Middle East ablaze, or is it in the possession of Middle East terrorists who intend to detonate it on U.S. soil?

A Pentagon colonel with the answer is found dead in a sleazy Washington motel. Max Geller, now a consultant to the DC Metro police, and Greta Von Wiles, an Army intelligence officer, are assigned to investigate the colonel's death. Their investigation takes them from New York City to a secret base in California and across the Atlantic, through the Mediterranean, and into the Middle East. As they get closer to the thieves and uncover a plot to trigger a White House coup, the two become targets of a CIA hit team and an arms dealer. The surprises never stop.
