This book contains two stories with a common theme of "Revenge". The first story is "The Revenge of a Whore" is set in the old west. The story is about a young whore who falls in love with a young man. They marry and have two children while building a successful ranch. Her husband is murdered and she plots her revenge against the murderer. The second story is "The Revenge of the West Texas Raiders". A group of West Texas young men go off to the War Between the States and make a name for themselves as the West Texas Raiders. After the war they come home to find carpetbaggers have murdered their families and stolen their ranches; so they plot their revenge.
