Revelation: The Gospel Era Finale (Volume 1)

The book of Revelation is the most remarkable book of the bible, considering the book was written by Christ Jesus through a messenger angel sent to visit the apostle John on the Isle of Patmos. Christ Jesus sent an angel to visit the apostle John, to signify that the angel's words were words spoken directly to him from Christ. Christ did not use an angel's intervention to the apostles when writing the other New Testament books. He worked through the Holy Spirit's divine inspiration. Revelation is the most unique presentation to the body of Christ because it was written by Christ Jesus. John was just a scribe of what he heard and what he saw. When taken into the throne room to understand the fulfillment of Daniel's seventy-week prophecy. All of the synoptic gospels were spoken to the Jews and via eye witness accounts of the apostles. But, the book of Revelation is Christ's prophetic teaching to give the body of Christ an understanding of the end-time. No apostle other than John understood what was revealed in the book of Revelation! Apostle Paul, as well as all other apostles, was not alive when Apostle John was visited by the angel and instructed on the contents of Revelation. Therefore, venturing into a study of Revelation using a preconceived bias formed with scriptures from the other apostles has created a great diversity of opinion about the timing of the rapture of the body of Christ. The diversity of opinions from Bible scholars causes the body of Christ to be apathetic about the end-time. Yet, Revelation is the only prophetic New Testament presentation and most important for gaining wisdom concerning the future end-time agenda of Christ Jesus.Christ Jesus placed a warning on teachng and studying Revelation because of the chronology of its content. The book is to be read and taught in an "as is" format, so that the blessing in Rev. 1:3 can be received. Revelation can be easily understood only by study of its end-time chronology. Forming ideas about the end-time judgment and rapture of the body of Christ using other New Testament books has led to controversy and confusion about the end-time agenda of God.Teaching and preaching the book of Revelation is a serious endeavor - "I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book" (Rev. 22: 18-19 NIV).Let the book of Revelation reveal to you a visual conception of the end-time and be blessed. Revelation needs to be understood exactly as it is written without adding or taking away words from Revelation's prophecy. There must be a common understanding in the body of Christ concerning the end-time, in order for the body of Christ to advance beyond the existing end-time controversies. Christians need to comprehend the end-time judgment seat of Christ and the rapture of the corporate church. The book of Revelation is not as mysterious as many believe. It was written with a specific chronological architecture, a presentation that unfolds the end-time in a way that all in the body of Christ can comprehend, take to heart. The architecture of this narrative is centered on a step by step building of a time line chart that forms a big picture of God's end time agenda. Are all Christians raptured in a single event? Are there multiple raptures? How can I know when I will be raptured if I am alive when the midnight cry is heard? Do all Christians receive the same reward? These and many other questions will be answered when God's end time agenda is understood. This book presents a theological and chronological sound perspective of the end-time for all Christians. It was written based on the chronology and narrative order sequential presentation of the book of Revelation. --Donald P. Moss, Author
