Chantelle Shaw is awesome! I enjoy her style; her characters are interesting and complex, the story line intriguing. While I didn't find Sienna's attendance at a DeConti wedding reasonable or a particularly strong move, it was successful in bringing her back into Nico's orbit. Sienna had a definite vulnerability for Nico, as many women do for their first love and a former husband. I was attracted to her business acumen; the premise for her business structure and the philanthropic benefits to the women and children of Tutjo were admirable and interesting. Nico was a bit arrogant; his stance regarding relationships and marriage antiquated. He was a strong character, if emotionally stunted. The tale Shaw weaves in this work fascinated me, held my attention, and was most enjoyable.
