Reunion at Del Monte Forest

Two tree spirits growing in the Del Monte Forest near Monterey Bay, California are best friends. Their friendship is threatened when one of them is cut down and sent to a boatyard. Life takes a turn when she is fashioned into a beautiful mast for a new fishing boat. Her friend in the forest meanwhile becomes a favorite climbing tree for children at the new school. Tragedy occurs when a violent storm destroys the fishing boat, but a surprising reunion takes place in the forest thanks to the May Day celebration and Maypole dance at the school. Hope, strong faith, and enduring friendship carry the day.
