This fantasy adventure story for kids ages 5-9 features a hero who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns. While the book features a non-binary hero, this is not a story about gender. It's a story about unlocking ancient secrets and rescuing dragons. The book follows Morgan who turns from an ordinary kid to a hero when a magic telescope reveals the forgotten world of ancient dragons. Unfortunately, the ancient dragons are all trapped, cursed by an evil king and invisible to our world. The magic telescope allows Morgan to see the dragons, but it'll take more than a telescope to free them from the curse. The secret to freeing the dragons lies in a mysterious song filled with clues to help Morgan. If they can unlock the mysteries in time, they can learn the dragons' True Names and bring the dragons safely back into our world.----Author's Note: I first wrote this book as a gift for a young child I love who is non-binary. They didn't enjoy reading books *about* gender, but yearned for a story with a hero they could identify with.
