Return of the Cancer Kickin' Warrior: No Expiration Date

By Inez Whitehead-Dickens

Book Overview

Cancer came back. So did she. No expiration date.

The doctor says those words again. You survived the first battle, rebuilt your life, and dared to believe the worst was behind you. Then the diagnosis returns, and with it, the fear, the uncertainty, and the overwhelming question: do I have the strength to fight again?

In 2001, Inez Whitehead-Dickens beat stage 3B breast cancer. For over two decades, she kept her promise to God and became a voice of hope for others, sharing her story in The Cancer Kickin Warrior. Then in 2023, cancer returned as secondary breast cancer in her lung. What followed was not just one fight but a relentless series of life-threatening emergencies, including emergency surgery for a complete intestinal blockage, blood transfusions, and complications that tested her will to survive while still undergoing chemotherapy. Return of the Cancer Kickin Warrior: No Expiration Date is the raw, unflinching, and ultimately triumphant story of a woman who refused to let anyone put a timeline on her life.

Inside these pages, you will discover:

- How targeted chemotherapy works differently from traditional treatment, and what it meant for Inez's fight

- The faith, family support, and stubborn courage it takes to survive multiple medical crises at once

- Why no one gets to put an expiration date on your life, and how to keep fighting when everything says stop
