After a T.V. celebrity turned politician is elected President of the United States he, in keeping with his promise to his political base, begins withdrawing the nation from all the treaties, pacts, agreements, and alliances it party to. This isolationist starts another arms race which leads to the search for bigger and better weapons. Four young street thugs, caught beneath the detonation of one of those weapons, find themselves trapped between the present, the past, and the future where they must decide whether or not to save a country that marginalizes them or sit by idly and watch it die at the hands of a new enemy.
