The causes differ. Whatever the cause, it is a turbulent, challenging, exhausting and restless journey. In my experience, I had been swimming through its turbulent waters for many many years. I never gave up though the swimming seemed hopeless when the turbulent waters got rough with big roaring waves ready to lash, devour and drown my spirit. I continued swimming. I had no choice because I wanted to free myself from trauma for the sake of my small children, my husband and myself. I just kept on because I believed the turbulence will calm.
