Resting In The Winter Garden

Grief and loss can be difficult for adults to understand, let alone children, and when we are overwhelmed by it, it can be challenging to explain it to a child. 'Resting In The Winter Garden' can lend a helping hand in that process and hopefully provide some peace of mind for the child and for you as well. The idea for this book came to me in a dream after losing my Grandmother. In the dream I was walking through a rose garden and came to a bed under the stars, dressed in white, and resting on that bed was my Grandmother. That dream filled me with a sense of peace. Her favourite season was Winter and her ashes were scattered in the "Winter Garden" at a cemetery, hence the title of the book.
