Since the begins of times humanity have experienced war and all the destruction and devastation it bring. History is full of conflicts, wars and "glorious" conquests that have their dark side, the destruction of the adversary is not the only damage. In every conflict both parties have causalities. During Alexander's the Great conquest of Persian Empire die more then 1 million persons, the Mongol conquests of Genghis Khan killed more then 5 milion persons, Napoleons Revolutionary wars had a global distribution and the death toll is nearly 10 million person. In the more modern time we have experienced two world war that left behind nearly 100 millions of death and destroyed world.With no International Law that govern the basic rule of war, the immense atrocities were inevitable. Since ancient time leaders try to create the basis for an international regulation of what is premised or not in a conflict. With the development of all the technologies was inevitable the development of war machine too. Especially the development of fire weapons made the consequences of war more incontrollable.
