Resilience is the ability to spring back into shape. But what if that shape evolves, changes colour, shifts it's form. Kintsugi is an ancient Japanese art taking a broken bowl and sticking the pieces back together with gold glue on the outside and then painted and varnished. The bowl stronger and more beautiful because of its cracks. Resilience is a collection of texts and poetry taken from the broken pieces of my life, the depths of trauma and the pathways to recreation. They are there to inspire, to provide solace and sanctuary. The book that you hold in your hands is an offering from my heart to yours.
