This book gathers the author's experiential testimony and his academic publications as a result of his research. It covers from how Resilience has helped him in his life to how he applied it in the scientific and work environment. His work experience has been vast in both the public and private sectors, holding positions as Operations Manager and in Production Management for 6 years. Currently he has more than 16 years working as Head of the Supply Department of the San Jos City Hall. His teaching career has led him to be a tutor, lecturer and final project partner in the MBA program at different private universities in Costa Rica. Currently he has more than 16 years of being a Professor of postgraduate courses in Administration and Education where he has taught around 160 courses with a total of almost 2100 students. He has lectured on resilience in Spain, Colombia, Mexico and Costa Rica. In addition, he has participated as a speaker at conferences at the College of Engineers and Architects of Costa Rica, as well as at the UNAM in Mexico. He is a collaborator of the Spanish Resilience Institute and Resilience Ambassador of FESI-UNAM.
