I love Prima

Prima makes the best strategy guides around. No one will match their perfection when it comes to detail. This guide is no different. The guide has a good set-up and gives you information on how to unlock all the games secrets. Maps are provided for all the areas as you go through the guide. There is a cool Wesker Report in the back that explains the Resident Evil series up to Code Veronica. This guide also explains details for defeating the Battle Mode. One thing I hate in some guides is the lack of maps. This guide gives you a map on the same page as the information. Instead of flipping through pages to find out if you are going the right direction, this guide gives you a map for every single piece of gameplay. If you enter an area forty times, you will see the map forty times to prevent looking back in the guide for it. This guide is very well formatted. Anyone with Resident Evil: Code Veronica X should pick this one up for an easy walkthrough. If you are looking for maps, secrets, or help with battle mode, it is all in here.

No one does it better than Prima

This is not the only Prima guide I have. Prima has the best format. I have Prima guides for all the Resident Evils and various other games. I've tried others that are good, but Prima makes the best.If you have a choice between Prima or another brand, choose Prima.(Sorry for sounding like a commercial.)

A Guide that Keeps the Surprises

Thank goodness I bought this when I bought the video game. As fun as it is to solve the game by yourself, we all get lost and confused from time to time. This guide is near perfect. It tells you what to do step by step. All items are explained. It gives clues to defeating the monsters. How to gain the game bonuses are revealed. Best of all, it doesn't reveal many of the surprises in the story. What's a horror story without the heart racing "jumps"? Some of you may consider downloading and/or printing a walk-through via the internet. I only recommend this if you have a LOT of paper to spare. I used an internet walk-through for RE1, 2, & 3. Code Veronica is much bigger and longer than the other Res. Evils. The Prima guide is cheap. Its collor maps and screen shots are easier to follow than pure text on dozens of white paper. You won't have to worry about losing pages, printer jams, or being kicked of the net during the downlaod. Look at it like this: Either fork over [$] for the guide and save yourself aggrivation, or [$] bucks for the electric bill and printing paper you'll have to eventually replace. ...

Quite a well done guide

Well, Prima's known for good strategy guides, and they deliver quite nicely here. There are complete items charts with where to get them, where to use them, and a brief description of them. There are detailed enemy bios as well as weapon stats. The guide is very thorough in the walkthrough and even covers the battle game in great detail. If it wasn't for this guide, I would never have found the submachine guns and some of the other more well hidden items. A great buy and well worth the price.

This game guide is great. If you need the help on this game, which you probably will, you should get this guide. It's great to have because it tells you things about what you can mix to make new things. The game is the hardest Resident Evil so far so I suggest that you get this guide.
