The Ethiopian Federal Police Commission, which is the research setting to this study, is one of the law enforcement organizations in Ethiopia. It is located in Nifas Silk Lafto Sub-city, in front of Tegbare-id Poly Technique College, Addis Ababa. The EFPC was established in 1992 by the government of Ethiopia (Federal Police Commission Proclamation, 313/2003) as an autonomous law enforcement organization having its own legal personality. It is a government funded law enforcement organization. Since its establishment, it has proved to be an autonomous federal government organ having its own legal personality. Currently, the commission has four main sectors: Crime prevention, Crime investigation, Human resources and Technology development and Education & Training sector which is called Ethiopian Police University College. At present EFPC is providing its services in a way that it can incorporate modern and multidisciplinary technologies and indoctrinates the internal and external environments of the organizations.
