Physical and chemical measurements traditionally include such types of measurements that are designed to determine the values of quantities associated with energy, industrial production, ecology, and health protection. These are: determination of the pH of aqueous and non-aqueous solutions; determination of the concentration of electrolyte solutions by potentiometric analysis, conductometric method and methods of optical-physical measurements; determination of the composition of gas mixtures by gas analysis and chromatographic methods.
