The main story follows its central character, Ashiteyla, a Cryobiological Anthropologist who suffers from anxiety and memory loss after she is revived from stasis in 2228 by pair of unfamiliar saviors working for an operation known as The R.E.S.C.U.E. Inquisition. For years, R.E.S.C.U.E. has worked tirelessly to clean up the aftermath of the devastation as well as rehabilitate survivors and displaced animals. While dealing with her memory issues and heightened anxieties, Ashiteyla develops a romantic and sexual relationship with her saviors, Jonathan and Chrysira. What she truly doesn't expect is the return of several faces from her past including an old flame and her former colleagues, and the shocking discovery of the cause of the greatest devastation on Earth. In the darkness and after two hundred years of uncertainty, a demon emerges from the shadows on a new path of destruction.
