Required Reading: Interpretations

Using the required reading list of 100 books for high school students, voted on by high school students themselves, and published by goodreads in 2013, here are critical interpretations for 20 books. My book, Required Reading, Vol. I, includes all of Shakespeare's tragedies, plus three other of his noteworthy plays. American Literature occupies a prominent place in the book, with interpretations of seven novels and two plays. With respect to comparative literature, I have included Beowulf, The Canterbury Tales, and Animal Farm. This constitutes the contents of Volume I.This book is also beneficial for college students.These interpretations can be found on my blog "requiredreading.me" and can be downloaded individually for free. I always picture a high school student standing at his locker with his smart phone. He's about to enter his English class where an essay is required that day, topic unknown. He calls up my blog and finds a multitude of ideas in a question and answer format.
