My name is Kimberley Watts, I suffered a traumatic childhood, at the hands of a close family member. I feel the trauma I endured as a child led to my having mental illness later in life as an adult. This is an autobiography about my life, and my opinion about those of us that suffer from traumatic childhoods and mental illnesses. Although all mental illnesses aren't the same, I feel we all share a common bond. I want to be very much a part of bringing awareness to the stigma that is still attached to mental illness. I've come to realize that it is very much a "DISEASE" that is still being swept under the rug like a dirty little secret. This must change People are suffering from this disease because it's look upon in a way that brings shame to those of us that have it. How is it in the 21st century those of us that suffer with mental illness feel we have to hide it from the world Honestly, I just can't hide it in the back of my mind and pretend I'm fine, and neither should anyone else I want the people that purchase my book to know this book is just the beginning of what I hope to accomplish by sharing my story. In my future I see the many of us that suffer in silence coming together in "ONE VOICE" to share our stories with the world that MENTAL ILLNESS IS A DISEASE AND THERE IS HOPE FOR ALL OF US.....
