Alan Baxter's lost the bulk of his savings and is struggling to make ends meet as a deejay in suburban Detroit. When he takes a job as a repo agent, he is dismayed to discover his first assignment is a car belonging to his drug dealer ex-boyfriend, Jason. Between dodging bullets, tracking down Jason, dealing with his home insurance company, and trying to stay employed, Alan must track down the drug supplier before he and those he cares about end up as nothing more than case files on Detective Treadwell's desk.
