Interesting book with a history of journalism

I bought this on recommendation of someone to help sharpen my writing. It's an interesting older book, with a history of journalism (a must-read chapter, the evolution of journalism was fascinating), some tips for fieldwork, and tips on writing. Being out-of-print and available for very little, I'd recommend it if you want a brief history of journalism and/or a book to help you write a lot in a little space.
