Repentance: What Does Biblical Repentance Look Like?

Repentance is the first step we take to receive the salvation that God offers to us in the Lord Jesus Christ. Luke wrote: "'...God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.' When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, 'Brothers, what shall we do?' Peter replied, 'Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven'" (Acts 2:36-38).
It is the will of God that every human everywhere should repent and come to the saving faith in Jesus Christ. That is because He doesn't will it that any should perish. As a matter of fact, the Bible says that God is displeased with the death of a sinner. He created human being to be in fellowship with Him. When we stray therefore God is hurt.
