Repent

"Why repent?" The most common question I get. The answer is, I was called into ministry and at the time women weren't necessarily encouraged to become preachers. I'd been taught that all my life. My prayer to God was, if this is you, I need to confirm that you called me to preach because what I was understanding went totally against what I was taught. My request to God was to tell me "What you want your people to hear in such a way that they know the information could not have come from me; but, it indeed had to come from you." Then I waited to hear from God what he wanted me to say. After a while I began to notice that all the sermons appeared to have a common theme of repentance. I also loved the way God explained the Bible to me and thought others could benefit from what God was saying to me as well. I kept my old sermons and began to document them as a collective work. I didn't realize that the finished product would be a book; but, here we are years later and in the end Repent was finally born or "born again "
