I purchased this book based on the glowing review in Antique Automobile (AACA, Mar-Apr 2004) and have not been disappointed. If you are restoring a British car this book will give you insightful, solid how-to information, especially relevant to postwar cars through the 60's. Specific information given on Lucas, Smiths, Weber, Stromberg, Zenith, Wilmot-Breeden, and other classic British component bits, and much of the information is generalizable to other manufacturer components, especially regarding restoration technique. Well-illustrated and well-written -- I wish more automotive books were this well done. The Wallages clearly know what they are talking about and their tips are invaluable to "proper" restoration. Very useful book, indeed.
