NYPD Detective Steve Riordan requests J. C.'s help as a witness. He tries to limit her involvement in his case while underestimating her curiosity and tenacity. Together, J.C. and Cam interview hotel guests, associates and family members of the victim, as well as others in the small world of exclusive art dealers. Sorting it all out requires intelligence, bravery and a bit of luck.
