Renegale Tales

By Laurel Colless

How do you catch the wind?

When 11-year-old Peter Blue and his team are sent on a quest to catch a group of Renegales - mischievous baby gales wreaking havoc across GAIA - they have no idea where to start.

Meanwhile, Peter's mentor, Agent Fleur, has a much bigger problem: a toxic yellow fog has attacked seven cities. Then Wanda Shore gets a big idea to fix it, even though she's totally unqualified and, according to her soon-to-be roommate Riva du Lac, mostly flexing to her followers.

Their search takes them to an active volcano, where Peter and his friends discover that the yellow fog and the Renegales may be connected. But digging too deep could uncover something far more dangerous - and reveal a dark secret from Peter's past that he really doesn't want to know.

Packed with mystery, friendship, monsters and fast-paced adventure, Renegale Tales is an eco-thriller for readers aged 9-12.

Book 2 in the Peter Blue series. Each adventure can be read as a standalone.
