Captain Gringo declares war on everybody...

This is an adult western written by Ramsay Thorne, aka Lou Cameron. This is number 1 in the Renegade series... The story is of Lt. Richard Walker, aka Captain Gringo of the U.S. Cavalry who was court-martialed for letting some Mexican rebels flee back to Mexico. Walker escapes the hangman's noose by escaping jail and make a run for the Mexican border. While in Mexico, he is jail for simply being a white man in Mexico, and hooks up with a ex-French Foreign Legion soldier named Gaston. They team up, escape a firing squad and head further into Mexico with the entire Mexican army on his tail. He and Gaston team up with Mexican rebels and continue to fight the Mexcian army in their attemp to escape with their lives... This book is full of sex, violence and more sex. It is violent and sexual in every way. But, notheless, it is a fun and fast paced read... This reall is nothing more than an old fashioned pulp novel, but worth the read. I can't wait to read number 2 of the series and add to my collection these rare and out of print editions...
