About the Book: Lydia Roy, a teenager, is a beautiful tall girl with long silky hair. She enjoys her teenage life in her dreams of fantasy. Because of her infatuation she falls in love with her own teacher, Robert Emerson. As he does not reciprocate her love; she finds her own way of enjoying life through her dreams. Further, Mary Joy, who was once a student of Robert Emerson, becomes his colleague. She also deeply falls in love with him. Her love journey has great significance as she fights between the traditional marriage alliance plans from her parents and her love relationship with her colleague. However, at the end the writer creates a twist between the love relationship of Mary Joy and Lydia Roy separately by highlighting the Indian traditional marriage against the individual love marriage. Because it is against parents' wishes. He encourages marriage through love and parents' acceptance. Eventually, the writer sets a beautiful scene at the end of the story where they all meet in surprise. Later, Lydia Roy becomes a teacher at the same college. She was disappointed to see Robert, marrying Mary Joy, the girl she often found in her dreams. Apart from a love story, the writer also builds beautiful content on the values of men and women relationships, children and their love for freedom and the values of a family life in modern Indian society. Finally, the writer glorifies woman as "Life Giver", and appreciates every man for understanding women better through his positive approach. For the writer, womanhood is as equal and important as motherhood
