After the publication of my first book, WWII Heroes: We Were Just Doing Our Jobs, I thought it was only fair to highlight the inspiring women of WWII. I interviewed fifty-five women who lived through the WWII era either as children, teenagers, or adults. They are heroines that kept the country running while many of the men were serving our country in the military. They are strong and dedicated women who did what needed to be done without complaining.
