What a Wonderful Man & What A Wonderful Book!!

This book isn't an autobiography, but a telling of stories by people who were involved in his life in some way,shape or form. The stories were funny, heartwarming, insightful,sad..they run the gammut of emotions. But they let you into the life of Harry Kalas that portrayed him as us Philly fans always knew; that he was true, loyal, fun, a great man..those qualities that we miss about him everyday a game is broadcast and we do not hear that legendary voice. What always was brought up through all the stories was how Harry Kalas changed and lost a little spring in his step when his best friend Richie Ashburn passed away suddenly. He played a tremendous part in his life and both of them passed away doing something they loved. That was not a running theme per se, but something that could not go unnoticed. You do not need to be a Phillies fan to appreciate this book, it will touch anyone loves a story about great human beings. And Harry was one of those people.
