Reliability, a fundamental concept of both operational safety and quality, is more than essential today in the design, manufacture and use of components and systems, whether simple or particularly complex. Reliability concerns complex systems with interconnected and interdependent components. In research, the relevance of some methods is still quite academic, so it is important to make these methods applicable in industry. More than half of this book has never been published before. With regard to suspended tests, new methods developed by the author are proposed. Also, a new approach to "a predictive reliability assessment process for complex systems and its implementation on a real industrial system" is presented. Composed and mixed models are formalised and presented when using a mission profile and the existence of several failure modes.
