Growing up, author Johnnie Prophet had wanted to know his earthly father, as he and his five siblings were raised by his mother and grandmother. When the opportunity came for him to speak with his father, Johnnie learned a relationship may not be possible because his father wasn't interested. However, he turned this disappointment into comprehending the relationship he had with God and how it could go from just a simple relationship to a thriving, daily fellowship with the Lord. This fuels his latest book, Relationship to Fellowship.

Through selected stories and figures from the Bible, Johnnie shows God has always desired we draw a more intimate connection with Him than many are willing to have. Johnnie relates how we can achieve fellowship in our communities by seeking the Lord and sharing His love with a hurting world. Relationship to Fellowship encourages readers to think about where they are in their relationships with God and to seek God more earnestly.

Though Johnnie never had the chance to have that desired relationship with his earthly father, the experience only reconfirmed what he knew to be true: his heavenly Father was always there for him and ready to turn their relationship into a fellowship.
