In this context, the image rejection rate is the most widely used indicator in radiology services, but it is imperative that this indicator is evaluated over time and reviewed by trained personnel, with the aim of being efficient and being able to propose goals to lower the repetition rates, as this means an increase in patient doses, increased time for the medical technologist and wear and tear on the x-ray tube.
