Everyone regardless of gender should read this before having kids.

The title is attention grabbing in an almost offensive way, but I have recommended it now to my own mother and everyone I know who is having kids. This book discusses the societal expectations of mothers and the effects those expectations have on women who become mothers. And despite having a small sample group all of the same ethnic and religious background, Orna Donath manages to write her book in a very intersectional way.
