The significance of this study lies in its potential to contribute to the existing literature on construction contract termination. By identifying the causes and effects of termination, the research will generate valuable insights for policymakers and practitioners, offering effective strategies to manage and mitigate the consequences of contract termination. Public construction projects play a vital role in delivering social and economic benefits, and the implications of their premature termination can be substantial.
