Regional Cultural Identity

"I is another," wrote Rimbaud. Beyond their controversies, humanists have always defended the idea that there is more meaning in bringing people together than in separating them. It is also, perhaps, this vision of existence that the temptation of communitarianism challenges. This temptation of communitarianism has been cheerfully overcome by Fútbol Club Barcelona and Union Sportive Arlequins Perpignan by basing their club policies on their regional cultural identity, which has led them toward a natural rapprochement despite being in different sports and countries. This rapprochement was indeed made possible by the specific nature of their environments and the fact that they both wear the colors of Catalonia. Based on the analysis of these two clubs, are there other environments in France that would be conducive to this type of club policy? And if so, in which professional clubs could it be as effective as that of F.C. Barcelona and U.S.A.P.?
