Die Publikation enthalt die Beitrage und den Abendvortrag der gemeinsamen Tagung des Projektes "Digitales Archiv der Reformation" und des Lehrstuhles fur Kirchengeschichte der Friedrich-Schiller-Universitat Jena unter dem Thema "Reformation vor Ort. Zum Quellenwert von Visitationsprotokollen," die 2014 in Jena stattfand.
