Too many evangelical Christians while cursing the darkness around them have covered the candle-the light of Christ-with a social-political basket. The people around us are seeing only the basket and they reject it; they are not seeing the Savior. Even though some of us have been preventing our culture from hearing the Gospel, in these pages we will see how believers can pray for and present the Good News of Jesus to a secular people. This is a call encouraging believers to forsake all other political, social and cultural gods and to follow the Lord on His terms and in His way.
