The universe is neither a straight line nor a perfect circle. It is a reflection, a distorted image of what we think we know. If everything we understand about time, space and life itself were reversed, would it still make sense, or would we find ourselves trapped in an unsolvable puzzle?
Elias woke up with a strange feeling, as if his body didn't quite belong to him. He opened his eyes and saw the ceiling of his room, but something didn't fit. The light from the window was not entering in the usual direction, the shadows of objects seemed to be moving in the opposite direction. He rubbed his eyes, trying to clear the confusion, but the feeling persisted. He slowly sat up and felt something pulling him backwards, as if his own movement was being guided by an invisible force.
He turned his head toward the clock on his nightstand. It read 08:00, but the hands were moving in the opposite direction. He frowned and blinked several times, waiting for his eyesight to settle, but it did not. He looked around and felt a shiver run down his spine. Everything was exactly where it should be: the books on the shelf, the clothes hanging on the chair, the old desk by the window... but something about the way the world appeared to him was wrong.
