Reflections is the collection of the original blog posts and writings from the Motherhood and Performing Arts (MPA) Project. Motherhood and the Performing Arts (MPA) Project was a multidisciplinary mother and son art project that took place in Tucson, Arizona between July 2015 - December 2016. The book reflects on the challenges one mother faced as she worked as a dancer, choreographer, and director at a small contemporary dance company in Tucson, AZ. This journey is an honest, and sometimes painful, look at the past into the joys and challenges of balancing motherhood with a career in dance.
