Reflections of Life to My Younger Self

Reflections of Life to My Younger Self was the brainchild of one of our awesome Women of Virtue. In preparation for our 2016 Annual Weekend Getaway, Annie suggested this as a topic to be discussed at one of our workshops. "Now that we are older," she stated, "write a letter to your younger self, detailing what advise you would want to give her." Once everyone read their letters aloud and we had ended a lively discussion, we unanimously agreed to document these letters in a book. Each person's life story is unique, encouraging and inspiring, pulling the reader in to empathize, cry, or rejoice with the individual. Some letters were left anonimous per the request of the indivdual, others were blessed to share their name and identify with their stories. The poems are all Candia Cumberbatch-Lucenius originals, penned to reach, bless, touch and heal the hearts of all whose fingers turn the pages of our letters to our younger self.
