Tom Hurd has led a diverse life. He moved around quite a bit in the military. While living in Florida Tom and his family cruised the islands in their boat "Le' Hebo", fishing, scuba diving for lobster, and photographing the reefs. His life by the sea and in the mountains; from the Rockies of the west to the green mountains of North Carolina has provided an abundance of material for his writing. Tom has worked as a journalist and now is a free lance writer and poet. A few years ago he discovered Western North Carolina and heaven on earth. He lives and writes in Murphy.
