Reflections on Catholic Education in Rhode Island is an attempt to bridge academic research on Catholic schools with first-person experiences of graduates of Rhode Island Catholic schools. Literature produced by or for Catholic schools may be self-selective, so while this sampling of Catholic school graduates is qualitative not quantitative, it is my hope to bring a broader perspective to the conversation of Catholic Educational Mission and the experiences of Catholic school students. The reflections submitted by graduates are their experiences and there is no intent to draw broad conclusions based upon these reflections. Here now, are the stories of Reflections on Catholic Education in Rhode Island told by the young men and women who graduated from RI Catholic schools.
