She had a life-changing experience when she saw holocaust survivors leaving a camp, and as an adult spent time as a volunteer in a Kibbutz and in the Isreali Army. During her travels she met many Israelis and Palestinians, listened to their narrative and developed deep compassion for both sides. She now looks at the world's sin of greed and cruelty and reflects on people, events and ideas which really mattered in her life.
