THOUGHTS ON POETRY: I did not write a poem until I was 75 when one just poppsd into my head. It is in this volume entitled-FAIRY TALE DAUGHTER. Soon after came another poem from this collection-FISHING. Poems began coming to me like birds landing in a tree, I found some fellow travellers who have given me excellent input on every poem I have ever published. Now poetry has become a true delight in my retired life and I am so glad to share it with others and read aloud at special community events. I hope this second round of my warbling will also be pleasing to you. I have no muse. My Muse is the world of poetry itself. "For every poet, it is always morning in the world; history, a forgotten insomniac nightmare. The fate of poetry is to fall in love with the world, in spite of History." Derek Walcott
