Reem Comix: ComixStories & Art

My admiration of comics started early in my life. I liked to read different comical magazines such as Mickey, ten ten and other comics that made my imagination wonder with the characters and plot.Time passed and I joined several workshops in the German Cultural Centre. I used to believe that comics were meant only for children, but then I realized that it is a world for adults, comics art lovers, biography writers, and a world of huge compiled books.Finally, my name became associated with the Alexandria Workshop and with a group of Alexandrian artists who are infatuated with this field.Here is a selection of my work representing five different stories that in turn are expressing different ideas.How beautiful is this medium where you can express your thoughts through pictures? Where you can see and experience the feelings and emotions of the characters.The art of comics is awfully close to movie directing which is both my hobby and my field of study. So, my love of drawing and drama manifested itself in comics writing.
