Redwina and the Manwolf: A Tale of the Great Moral Symmetry

By Jeffrey Marlin

At last, the true story behind Redwina Ridinghood's encounter with that deeply twisted creature normalized by endless retelling to resemble an ordinary talking wolf. Unsparing language illuminates the little discussed relationship between this wretched chimera and the axe-wielding woodsman who proves the monster's undoing. It reveals that blue-eyed rescuer's surprising connection to Little Red Ridinghood, her anxious mother, and her fast-living Granny. Convincing new evidence and penetrating insights cast disturbing light on a long-told tale, enduring values, and much of the human condition. Not for those attached to received wisdom or doubting the stability of their apple carts.
