Red Wet

England, 1792. An infant survives the many violent attempts by his mother to abort her pregnancy. He's taken to a nearby orphanage from where he's soon adopted. Within a few years the boy's adoptive parents realize he's mentally deficient, which causes great conflict within the home. This lasts until the boy is abandoned at the same orphanage after a moment of accidental violence on the boy's part.Life doesn't get any easier for the boy as the other orphans are cruel and unforgiving of the boy's ill-perceived attributes. After some years of no one wanting to adopt the boy he's forced into the world to fend for himself on a merchant ship. Here the boy's great strength more than compensates for his mental shortcomings, but some hold animosity for him nonetheless. After being abandoned yet again, "X" - as so nicknamed by his crewmates - is alone more so than he's ever been before. An accidental street brawl garners X the attention of a vampiric coterie ruled by a master vampire called Bauffremont. Though it's Bauffremont's intentions to add X's great strength to his already formidable group, Fate steps in cruelly once again. With being turned the only way to save him, X and two of Bauffremont's group go on the run longing for more peace than their vampire existences afford them. Thus a life of conflict and violence begins for X and the two who created him in his new incarnation.
