Steve Bond has returned to his office in Madrid, he has recently completed a tough assignment, working against The South American Cartel and Galician Organised Crime Groups. Steve still holds vivid, unwanted memories of what had occurred in the recent operation, they will not disappear, they linger and cause concern for him and his future. The past is following him very closely now and is making his decisions very difficult to make. He is in a strong relationship with his colleague Sarah who is at the centre of his thoughts, they are both becoming very close. Eventually, he makes a bold decision which he hopes Sarah can understand and will follow him. Steve continues on with his active investigation work in Europe, whilst Sarah continues to delve to find the truth about the past. The initial investigation, takes a step back in time to the Spanish civil war and the incident which changed a family for ever. Then as now, the far right and the far left settle differences with killings. The investigation will get results, using any ways and means possible.
